GALAX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 10th Anniversary Edition Pictured

GALAX displayed their top of the line GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF 10th Anniversary Edition graphics card at Computex 2019. It looks like anniversary edition products are trendy this year as most of the brands we know and love have been around for a decade or more in the tech industry.

The GALAX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF graphics card is a beast in terms of size with an extended PCB and dual-slot design. The card features a hybrid cooling design which lets you utilize the triple 100 mm fans or use a custom loop liquid setup to further enhance the cooling potential of the graphics card.

Talking about some of the design aspects, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti HOF Anniversary Edition comes in the GALAX’s iconic white shroud, white backplate, and white PCB colors and this specific graphics card makes use of a large ring structure with a reflective metal frame around the middle fan which displays RGB LED lighting. GALAX has mentioned dates around the ring which begin at 2010, the year GALAX was founded & is seen going all the way up to 2019. The card has a nice cooler shroud that has a unique cut out structure. The RGB extends to the backplate with a design that looks nice.

When it comes to specifications, the card is making use of the same PCB that’s featured on the RTX 2080 Ti HOF so the only thing changed is the cooler itself. The card makes use of a triple fan config but I was told that GALAX would be using a higher binned GeForce TU102 GPU on this card which will deliver higher clock speeds and better overclocking potential. Pricing was not mentioned but the card will most probably hit the shelves around the $1500 US range in limited units only when it’s introduced in a few months.

GALAX is also preparing a new GAMER lineup based around the Turing GPU architecture which will feature all the way from the entry-level GeForce GTX 1650 to the top-end GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The new card is a triple fan design so we may see a toned down version for the entry level cards. It has the silver and black aesthetics along with full use of RGB LEDs inside the fans. GALAX is still trying to finalize the positioning of this product so no more details were mentioned.
