Lian Li Launches Bora Digital Fans

Lian Li, a renowned case maker, has launched their new Bora digital fans. These are RGB fans that come in three different fan frames which allows for better color coordination in a build. The frame colors are white, silver, and black. The fans combine quality and performance while keeping the RGB aesthetic everyone wants, but doesn’t always need.

Bora Digital Fan Combines Performance With RGB

As I said previously, the fan comes in at 120mm and no 140mm option. I am not sure about this decision, but I guess these are not for the people who need 140mm fans. The fan combines performance with silence. The fan speed can be adjusted as needed from as low as 900-1800 RPM with 19.4-29 dBA for the quietest experience. Rubber pads are located on the corners of the fan to reduce vibrations and they all use a fluid dynamic bearing which keeps friction low. The dimensions of the fans are 120mm x 120 mm x 27mm.

The RGB can be controlled through the RGB controller which allows for 16 unique lighting modes and 9 progressive lighting speeds. The fans have 12 addressable RGB LED’s that can be changed to make unique lighting displays. The RGB can also be controlled through the motherboard RGB software and these fans support Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, Asrock Polychrome Sync, and MSI Mystic Light Sync. The center of the fan has the Lian Li logo CNC machine milled to offer a nice and classy look. This video offers a sample of RGB lighting on the fan.

The MSRP of the fan is $59.99 for a 3 pack of fans that includes three fans, RGB controller, power cables, daisy chaining cables, as well as an LED controller. These are fans that combine quality and performance with a nice look and follow the RGB trend. The RGB fan market is getting very saturated right now so companies need to start distinguishing their product.
