About IIP – Indian Institute of Petroleum was established in the year 1960, its located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand state, India. IIP is one of the constituent laboratories of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) dedicated to the R & D (Hydrocarbon) sector. Educational Qualification:
Senior Project Associate:
- M.Sc/ M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Virology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/M.VSc. from a recognized university with 4 years of experience in molecular biology work. OR
- Doctoral degree in Biotechnology/Virology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/M.VSc. from a recognized university with experience in molecular biology techniques OR
- MD/MS from a recognized university with experience in molecular biology techniques.
Project Associates:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Virology/M.VSc. from a recognized university.
- M.Sc in Chemistry
Laboratory Assistants:
- B.Sc. OR 3 Years Diploma in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Virology/Medical laboratory technology from a recognized university.
Note: Final semester and results awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for an interview.
Maximum Age Limit (as on 20.04.2020):
- Senior Project Associate: 40 years
- Project Associates: 35 years
- Laboratory Assistants: 50 years
